I have kinect and so far it's not worth the money I spent on it. I want good games on it. There's a bunch of games for kinect next year so hopefully some are good.

The first part of his comment is a bit off but the second part where he talks about gears is spot on! He seams smarter than the people saying gears is serious.

Are you seriously trying to say gears takes no skill!? You can tell you haven't played gears too much with a comment like that. In gears you have to at least be decent at the game to even have a chance of winning a match! And cliff talks too much but people listen because the games that come from Epic are usually great! Gears 2 was a let down compared to gears 1 though.
I think by serious he means realistic, there is no over the top gameplay in most shooters now a days. Epic's games are all over the top in one way or another. A lot of the FPSs take themselves too seriously now.

I have both mass effects on my 360 but i'm thinking of getting the third on the ps3 so i don't have to swap disks, but i haven't decided yet. I'd like to finish the trilogy on a single console.

I bought limbo the other day and its really fun! One of the best downloadable games i've played.
Gears has awesome gameplay! That's why many many people continued to play it even though when it was released it was pretty much broken. But a lot of people love the gameplay gears brings, including me. Uncharted does not even play like gears, uncharted is more of an awesome version of tombraider.
i haven't seen many "steroid fueled marines with CHAINSAWS" so... ha!!
splinter cell was awesome! it was tons of fun, only thing missing was spies vs. mercenaries game mode!

I don't think MGS was overrated, it's amazingly fun, 'nuff said! Halo 3 is hugely overrated! Mass effect is awesome! The rest is meh...
To be fair, that guy seems to not have played gears too much. It's a dead give away when he compares the pistols. He compares a strong magnum from killzone to gears weakest no-recoil pistol. He should have just compared both magnums from the games. There other things that hint at him not knowing much on gears throughout that video.
You can tell someone is a fanboy when they post a link to that blogspot where they have that biased gears vs uncharted comparison. That comparison tries to make gears look so bad! Uncharted does indeed look better so there's no need to make such a biased comparison. Anyone who thinks that's legit has never played gears thoroughly. I play both games, I love third-person shooters! They're my cup of tea!

I'm looking forward to this game. Looks promising, seems to have the best facial animations I've seen in video games. More games should use this new tech.
